What I mean by that is Summer is an incredible artist, I've heard zero bad albums from her, her music is phenomenal.
But she a bird. It's exemplified by the first song on the album.
I've said it before, she's the new era Keyshia Cole, fantastic music that should stand the test of time. But the fukkery she gets into outside of the music dulls the message of the music a bit.
Listened to this last week, and on one hand, I spent most of my time laughing at the lyrics, since they're ridiculous. Can't even relate to the lyrics, since even my exes I did dirty could never bring themselves to be this type of mad at me.
That being said, the production on this shyt is IMMACULATE. Worth listening to again off of that alone.

I really sat there for a bit thinking "THIS is what these motherfukkers won't shut up about?" But once I wrote it off as unrelatable fukkery, I was able to appreciate all the work that went into it.
That bass line on "Insane" is a different kind of buttery when it hits on the Sonos
I didn't think I was going to even give this a chance. Wasn't familiar with her music at all, only the instagram antics. I can get with the "ghetto love" shtick or whatever but the scorned baby mama/nikkas ain't shyt thing is an instant nope. And yea...that's mostly what this is.

She can legitimately sing. "Insane", "Constant Bullshyt"...I'm like damn, well go 'head then. That Neptunes joint came out of left field but even that got a bit of a nod from me.

yeah i think this sht gonna be a classic. a lot of people gonna gloss over it cause it aint accessible like other female rnb artists sht (mary j alicia anita etc), but this sht great.
I gotta let it breathe a little more but you might be right. It gets better the more I listen. Definitely the strongest r&b release I've heard this year, aside from Lucky Daye.
