Found out Wednesday night my uncle committed suicide. I tried to tough it out but today would have been his 51st bday & I broke down:to:Tears in my eyes as I type this

I pray to God & read my Bible asking the Lord why, but there's nothing any of us can do. I could have reached out to him & try to talk to him about life & how he was feeling, but now it's too late. He was never married, no kids, mason by trade. He was very quiet but would go to the ends of the earth for the people he loved. Bruh this shyt fukking hurts.

Black people, if you feel hopeless, don't go through those feelings alone. Reach out to someone. A family member, a close friend, a therapist, some sort of outlet. We all wished we could have spoke to him before he did it but there's nothing we can do now.

If you're feeling lost & out of options RIGHT NOW and want to end it, call 1-800-273-8255, the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. They also have a online chat.

Brothers & sisters, please don't do it. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
