Plenty of moguls do their artist dirty. Suge's the only one who's been turned into a boogieman in 3 movies(NWA, Notorious and the MC Hammer film) and in the media. And the LAPD has a history of corruption. This story seems plausible as it's been alleged that certain members within the LAPD were involved in these 2 murders and that they purposefully bungled the investigations into their own department.

Thats because he used violence. This isnt Diddy cooking the books amd having artist sign bogus contracts. This is a guy who used Gepesto tactics to maintain power. Beating down artist. Pissing and defecating on them. Pulling guns, committing murders, etc, etc. Diddy is a shady business man. Suge is an active gang member who finessed his way into the music industry.

Not saying that everything Suge did was right...HOWEVER looking at how that man conducted business from Day 1, it is not inconceivable that he was owed money and he wanted to collect. Suge has always been a businessman first. He only put the smash down when he felt he was (or his artist/family/homies) done wrong. I'm not going to sit here and say I know about any of those contracts he had with Andre are binding or even exist. But, Suge never bullied Andre. Prior to Death Row he helped Andre get off Ruthless and away from Eazy and that Devil shyt Packer. While on Death Row, Suge knew who the money maker was and thus kept all that madness away from Andre. When it came down to business, Suge knew Andre was dumb to the game so when it came time for Dre to leave I'm sure he bled him dry. We know for a fact Dre left with no money and no masters. Anything else is between them. When it comes down to it, Suge is/was a helluva businessman and ALWAYS was ahead of the game in that aspect. It was his business tactics that were always questionable. In my eyes, Suge wanted what he was owed and once again was going to use those tactics to get it from Andre. Andre being the scary man he's always been had to have other men fight his battles and that's what led to the Tam's Burger incident.

if suge would've had any legit claims, he would have had lawyers negotiate them and not tried to set up a meeting with dre in the middle of compton that turned into a homicide. suge is not a businessman, he is a bully. that worked for him for a couple of years, but then he started feeling himself to much and his antics got bad for business, so he was blackballed. he wasn't ahead of the game, he was too stupid to realize that he had to change his ways and lost almost everything because of that.
