a lifetime contract won't hold up. he'll be lucky if the NWA one holds up and i would love to see the dr. dre thing in court.

How so?
Suge talks about the NWA name and his lifetime management agreement with Dre here:
Here's something I found on the NWA name:

Suge is never getting out, if they can help it.

If there's paperwork with both parties signing off on it, why wouldn't it hold up?
A.I. signed a lifetime deal with Reebok and is still collecting huge checks yearly almost 20 years later
because contracts can be rendered void if they have reason to believe their were signed under duress. which, in this case, shouldn't be super hard to prove.
I feel that, but the duress would be Dre's eagerness to get out of his Ruthless deal, right?
Has there ever been any talk of Suge forcing Dre to leave Ruthless and sign with him?
Or forcing him to sign anything when he wanted to leave Death Row and start Aftermath?
I would think Suge could argue that Dre's inability to honor his contracts led him to sign off on bad deals to get out of them
legally, duress could fall into a few a categories. if you gave a nikka a fukked up deal vs none at all & being broke, he would have a strong case for suing under duress, even after his personal situation got right.
you may be right on there not being any evidence on him being pressured into signing it, but all it takes is a few strong pieces of evidence for it to get thrown out the window. if dre can come up with anything that makes it seem he was forced, pressured/whatever into signing a contract that is insanely beyond the typical means, then it'll probably get throw out. i honestly don't even know how forcible a lifetime contract is, but something tells me it won't hold up in court. literally nobody willingly signs a lifetime contract.
You sound pretty knowledgeable on law, would you mind linking me to a case where this type of legal precedence was set?

don't take my word for shyt, my nikka. i'm just in college and none of the links I provided are ones that came from my school.
my posts just come from what i've read and a prediction on how they would handle it. there are way too many factors brought into cases that it makes it nigh impossible to predict how shyt is gonna turn out.
