In 1995, authorities began investigating Death Row employees in connection with a series of assaults, robberies and at-least 15 murders in Los Angeles and Compton. The victims, in many cases, had had run-ins with Knight. Police suspected that Knight was orchestrating the crimes but could not find sufficient evidence to charge him. Knight denied any wrongdoing.

Lol at Dre rising waves, how can a producer who only works with new artists with no music ride waves? Suge has not done shyt without Dre, except taken an infinite amount of L's. nikka had the biggest artists, producers and mad money and couldn't maintain it for half a decade like a fukking retard.

And those artists were wack when Birdman signed them.

Biting Above The Laws sound that made him famous, also how much producing he actually did vs how much credit he gets, sounds like sum wave riding....and who cares if he's working with new artist,he created the wave for them and rode Snoop to relevancy as a rapper on the Chronic, and then Eminem and Scott Storch to stay relevant as a rapper on 2001,couldnt get Game hot so needed 50 to give him some hits and then rode Games wave to remain relevant....You cant accuse Suge of "just riding a wave" like he aint play a part, then act like Dre didn't if that's the case.

Witout Suge Dre is probably still on Ruthless records right now:mjlol:,probaly woulda had to ride Bone Thugs wave:sas1:...Suge signed Pac and got him outta jail,he's a ceo who handles the signings,he didn't have to okay it...would you not give credit to a team owner in the NBA who makes a smart signing or good trade:dahell:....He ran his company aggressively and made things happen when other people were slow to move:manny:

And who cares about Dre,if Pac doesn't die and get Suge sent to jail who knows how his career works out,he's likely more relevant than Dre for the next decade...matter of fact is it his fault the feds just so happened to indict Murda Inc as hes about to link up with them and J Prince:beli:?...Suges downfall was signing artist who did things he couldn't predict, and also some who were unloyal:mjpls:

And if you think Juve,BG and Wayne was wack when Baby signed em,Dre was wack as shyt before Suge got him too. Aint nobody wanna hear that nikka rap after he left NWA:laff:..i don't see him surviving a record like "Real Muthafukin G's" on any other label but Deathrow:banderas:

Without Suge my favorite rappers would probably still be alive.
That's the only thing that would be different.

I should probably direct you to the "List of all the black lives Puffy has ruined thread" then.cuz I think you barking up the wrong tree being mad at Suge. And if these rappers deaths you blaming Suge for you could argue the rappers youve liked over the years wouldn't exist:manny:

Snoop and Eminem were unproven before Dre started working with them. Dre put out Snoop, Eminem, Game, and Kendrick Lamar before they were platinum selling or household names. Suge on the other hand has no ear for musical talent. Of course he's gonna sign Tupac. Pac was platinum selling artist and a movie start. But what other smart moves did Suge make? Signing MC Hammer after his star had died down? Putting out a bootleg Chronic 2000 with a Snoop imitator, Pac imitator, and even a wannabe Lady of Rage?

Suge lost his company and never recovered. Dr. Dre lost his company, left with zero money and recovered better than ever.

You say of course he signed 2pac as if he didn't have to be somebody Pac wanted to work for,and as if he didn't have to build up Deathrow to become a place where signing 2pac would even be an option:pachaha:...I aint tryna give SUge all the credit but I have a problem with people giving him none of the credit....and lets not pretend signing people would be easy for Suge after coming home from jail after several years, when the public and the media has all but assumed you killed Pac and Biggie, cant forget Eazy got thrown in later for kicks:mjlol:...only desperate people would sign to Suge,he might not be Larry Brown but Phil Jackson aint no slouch...and like I said Dre wasn't exactly proven solo talent when Suge made the move to get him from Eazy..

to make you think he wasn't involved:sas1:

You could say that, but he was inches away from getting shot too, he got grazed. Suge could have got him clapped anywhere, having it done while sitting next to him just doesn't make much sense to me.
