Anyone still on those sites gotta be on some other shyt but I remember posting bb.com when I was 16 mostly looking for info when I found that misc section. It was straight jokes there. This was around '06.

This is all ancient history at this point but I remember the shyt switched around was when zyzz (who was already there at the time) went from a clown that stayed in the red to some kind of icon. Started having stans and shyt and the forum got flooded. The whole forum demographic was veering younger and dumber and I had to dip out once the funnier old heads stopped around '08. Honestly felt like the internet was a lot different back then. Trolling used to be an art. Had to have a whole persona with a backstory and shyt and you had to stay in character. Used to be dudes with 40k posts working the same bit still going unappreciated. Just being racist would have even white boys like, "that's it? "

IIRC that was around the time, ICE & FBI were clamping down on a lot of forums and blogs due to copyright infringement, so many on the fringes of the internet got pushed into the center/mainstream spaces and brought that 4can/8can/Stormthrush content/humor.
