I swear it couldn't be sweeter, life's a bytch
Depending on how you treat her, you might get rich
It's guaranteed you gon' die, you might get missed"

Kiss goin at 50. So dope tho. Get rich or die trying broken down. This before piggy bank etc when Styles and Kiss were throwing heavy subs. Apparently 50 starts all the beef tho.

Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
i always wondered about this, but 'izzo' was recorded before the rest of the 'blueprint' album

when jay said 'industry's shady, it need to be taken over'...was that a shot at eminem or just a reference to ATCQ's rule 4080? anyways, eminem was on jay's album by taking royce out the original renegade

===

dmx also referenced 'slim' on 'party up' but dmx and eminem later had a song together dissing benzino on 'go to sleep' for the 'cradle to the grave' soundtrack

i think rappers really subliminally dissed eminem as the new white rapper punching bag before they cleared the air and made songs together

The DMX diss was aimed at Kurupt from Tha Dogg Pound.
They had beef over Foxy Brown. Kurupt dissed DMX on Callin Out Names

This is what i dont like with Eminem/uncultured fans.

Just cuz Em fans learned hip-hop in 2000 doesnt mean anytime a dude, especially an east coast dude, used to word slim or shady that it was meant for Eminem.

It's old slang. I dont even live in the states and i know that. X especially used alot of slang like "money, slim" etc. I doubt that or Jay's line had anything to do with Eminem smh

what!?

listening to this track right now trying to find the diss?

Competitive shot for addressing ther entire rap game with backhand compliments on "A star is born". He was talking about all these great rappers in past tense only to prop up how great he is.

The diss is pretty much the whole second verse. Specifically brings up being a star. They also have an unreleased song together called "Syllables" where they talk shyt about rappers being lazy with their rhymes. So him using the ad-libs from "Run this town" and pointing out that he's rapping real basic on it is him saying I'm spitting harder than you are right now.

maybe if you had some self awareness would you realize not to take anything on this forum literal or serious, including this post

people who are not from the states try so hard to blend in and act hard typing on the computer when half of it are jokes and fukkery just to push the conversational piece forward outside of saying 'bump'

these are fukking shower thoughts at best with not that much thought put behind it, so send your pent up 'strawman uncultured swine' argument fallacy somewhere else, go get laid or something

Hook is obvious aimed @ MGK

But Snoop caught some jabs.

Ain't nothing you say could ever Trump
Mic, pencil get killed
If you're hypersensative I'm not referencing the Vice president chill
I mean my penmanship at times tends to get ill, violence but with skill
That's hence when when I write it ends up with mic and pencil gettin killed
And I'm, still ride or die for the squad
So you know which side that I'm on, if a battle lines ever drawn
But if I get involved it'll be like K9's in a brawl
But not similar to Mike Vick at all
Cuz even if I don't have a dog in the fight
You're never gonna get rid of the fight in the dog

Got stripes like a tiger so you might get mauled
A mic in my palm's like claws I could swing right for your jaw

The scene with the Vick Jersey and the dogs strategically placed lol. He dissed him by name later on in that album too.

They were. They're from close hoods. A few blocks from each other. But In Broken Language, MOP wasn't sure if they were sending shots with the "the Downtown Swinga, the MOP bell ringer", Smooth was shouting them out but MOP kinda took at them going at them.

So on World Famous, Lil Fame said:

"I'm outspoken, fukk a nikkaz Language is Broken
Record labels need to stop that wack shyt they be promotin
See me knowin me G I drop physical science
This lethal rap appliance'll fukk up your whole alliance"

But they all have mutual friends, so it got squashed, and plus they all had real thorough nikkas on their teams so it could've got out of hand. Especially in Brownsville.

People also thought they was going at Big Daddy Kane and his brother on Broken Language too, that's why when they dropped Broken Language 2, they made it known they weren't dissing Kane.
They performed at the same venue sometime after and MOP left out the line aimed at them and then when Smoothe and Trig performed Murdafest they cut the track befor the diss, all has been well since.

A lot of men wanted peace in the 90’s because of Suge
While that statement is true, in this particular case I think it has more to do with the fact that ultimately they both felt like they got jerked by the same people, easy to squash a beef that was only a beef due to proximity, neither of them had done anything foul to eachother...besides disses on wax of course. They both left Ruthless for the same reasons.

Renegades, if you die they still get paid
Extra probably, fukk a robbery"

My boy always swore up and down that this was a shot at Pac :patrice:
