Do you remember the comments guys would make when talking about Destiny's child when they first came out? Kelly was called ugly and dark, similar to what men used to say about Adjua, DMX's wife and Usher's wife too. Comments didn't change until later on. After her glow up and surgery men are now acting like she is beautiful but it was a different story back then.

Gabriel in her own interview talked about how the black boys made her feel growing up. Like she wasn't good enough. She said she disliked her skin, eyes and hair ever since.

Naomi's issues stem mostly from non-blacks. She has a few interviews complaining about how in the fashion world fair skin is king and black beauty is dismissed.

I'm the same age as DC members. I remember watching the NO NO NO slow remix with my friends arguing over who gets Kelly, LeToya and Bey

I never remember anyone on TV, magazines, Net slandering Kelly's skin. DMX's wife and Usher's wife are unattractive. Not cuz of their skin, they'd be ugly as redbones. And Usher's wife caught flack cuz it was Usher and people felt a man of his stature should be with better women

Sometimes things just don't work out between a couple. Kids shouldn't suffer because they happen to have a deadbeat father.
