Aldrich hasn't done shyt in preseason. Diogu has completely outplayed him. I say leave a roster spot open in case something appealing ends up on the waiver wire.

maybe this will just keep chris smith long enough to guarantee his deal (and his money) and then cut him..... If anything it wouldn't be the worse move cause as decent as diogu, Powell, and aldritch played we all know some team is going to cut a better player who the knicks can then just sign outright.... its the basically the same way the knicks got Lin, JR, Baron, and Kenyon.

Then to hit him with some more money move chris to the D team where he can get some burn and earn some more dough. I can't see them allowing him to stay on the roster as the season starts though.
