Let's not play games here. Your roster is garbage.
Horford, Loui Williams, Milsap - that's the big three. Two of which you can't even play together because of defensive liability. You're gonna sit around and hope Schroeder turns into rondo, and even then, you'd still stuck.
You're bragging about your coach... your coach is Mike Buddenholtzer
You're bragging about your GM... your GM is Danny Ferry, who's career accomplishments include: Not being able to put talent around LeBron James, trading for a washed up shaq, and getting thrown out of Cleveland, a city that can't get anybody to come INTO it, no matter how low they drop the price of flights.
You're bragging about your "youth" but Lou Williams is entering his 9th nba season, horford his 7th, Elton Brand his 39th. Your two best young players play the same position (teague/schroeder) and you don't have a useful player other than the six i've mentioned by name. Pero Antic ain't the answer, b.
And of course you have "roster flexibility" because everyone is expendable. Horford is theo nly player on your team that anybody wants, and you couldn't attract a top-flight free agent with a gun to their head. Next year you'll have "enough money for a max deal, maybe two!" and you'll still end up signing Mo Williams and Drew Gooden.
You don't even have enough young talent to pretend to be on the come up. You're on the stay down.
Say what you want about the Knicks, but they'll be competitive this year and next year - and then they'll be able to completely rebuild, sign whomever they want, and start all over. You'll still be talking about how you almost had dwight howard, but didn't want him anyway...
