Did I ever claim that it was ALL species? Read what I wrote and actually understand it. The person I was initially replying to said that sex is SOLELY used for reproduction when that's true. "Evolutionarily speaking" doesn't posit that ALL species used pleasure, but it does negate that idea that reproduction only involves carnal urges and nothing else. Second of all, I'm not a zoologist. I provided examples of species where I know the alternative to be true. If you want to sit down with a book of animal behavior, be my guest, but I never claimed to know anything about ALL species. That doesn't even make any sense. Speaking about evolution does automatically mean I'm speaking about ALL species.
