Really? I went to a Quaker school in PA where we didnt do prom queen/king due to equality, don't wear class rings due to simplicity and come to a consensus when we take tests vs having a date given to us. As liberal and historcally white as it comes and we NEVER had anything remotely close to this.

As liberal and historcally white as it comes and we NEVER had anything remotely close to this.

Quakers are their own group, though. They're not like other white liberals. They have a much more advanced sense of social issues and how to navigate them because it's so deeply rooted in their religious culture. I'm saying this as a northeasterner myself.
