rest in peace, this man really shaped my sports viewing as a teenager- i remember just waiting to see if he hosting sportscenter just to hear his phrases. and watching coverage of sports i didn't care for just to hear what witty lines he would come up with.

he really did change the way the espn anchors read highlights, nowadays you hear everyone of them using catchphrases and different slang.
