Dude I remember when he was auditioning for ESPN while a local anchor in Orlando and he took Penny from the airport to his first tryout with the Magic before the draft in 1993 when no one was there to pick him up from the airport

Stu was down with the athletes in the way Stephen A wishes and acts like he was.
Exactly, Stu treated everyone with respect which is why both colleague's & athletes are heartbroken.

RIP to him and respect and best wishes to his family :salute:

I feel like he and a couple other of the SC anchors really had an affect on my life even though we would just get to watch them a couple hours a week on the TV. But when he was on, you knew it was going to be a little bit more entertaining of a show. I learned so many corny catchphrases and cliches from that man that I still use today. He always seemed to be a genuine guy and I thought he did a good job of keeping his individuality and becoming a star in his own right during that era of the big ESPN personalities. I don't watch much ESPN anymore but Stu Scott and Kenny Mayne were my two favorite anchors that made me want to try and follow their footsteps.

Watching this got me fukked up breh. He was at the forefront of the days of watching ESPN all day and its teh same thing but you you were never tired of it. he was like my cool ass babysitter. :mjcry: that disease is so demonic breh. as well are many others. and it always pains me to see how it can slowly destory a person and pain a family breh
The fukked up thing about it is, it goes away for a period of time and then suddenly comes back even worse the second time...

My fathers side of the family got me :mjcry:I lost two uncles and a grandfather to this shyt...One of my uncles was never sick, didn't eat anything that didn't come from his farm, dude was like a human tank...Goes to the doctor one day over a bad stomach ache and they tell him he got prostate cancer and need to operate immediately...They cleared him a year later after surgery and therapy...I saw him back in the old country and he looked strong and healthy...As I was leaving to go back home my cousin told me it spread to his colon and its very aggressive this time...A strong man reduced to just skin and bone a few months later...I'll never forget the first time I ever heard him cry, that's when I knew this time its very serious cuz my uncle don't cry...He never gave up, he struggled for two long years after that till his heart couldn't take it anymore...

Moral of this depressing ass story...Get screened brehs, its our only protection...

Have not shed these kind of tears in so long, Stu thank you for displaying BLACKEXCELLENCE

with just being your honest fun-loving self. His "corny catchphrases" raised an entire generation

to witness one of our very own Doin It BIG on a wide spectrum, without compromising his integrity. Like somebody said; to us 90s kid Stu, You Are ESPN:salute::damn::wow:

Rest in peace and power. He will be immortalized by his words and actions.

"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer," Scott told the audience. "You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."

Real shyt breh. :wowwow2: I am legit wiping tears from my eyes. :to:
