What do we think about the deadline brehs? Essentially bones and reed for Thomas Bryant and Reggie Jackson

Seems like those 2 plus Bruce, CB and zeke or vlatko should make a solid bench lineup. If the bench can just fat to a net neutral, we good.

I think the addition to the bench are nice especially a back up center. Reggie is a more consistent scorer and defender than Bones. I was hoping we could get one more defensive wing but it is what it is. I don’t like Cancar though but less minutes for him and Jeff Green is perfect

Hated seeing Bones go but sometimes subtraction is addition especially when someone is affecting the chemistry/culture of the team. Wish that young brotha well with Clippers. If he can find a spot where he gets consistent tick, he has potential to be a problem.

Haven’t seen Reggie recently but previously I liked his game at times. I think he can be food on the defensive end at times so I don’t know if he’s a significant upgrade over Bones but I think his scoring and playmaking will be helpful off the bench and maybe as a starter in those games where Murray is out. He helps us maintain a little of that fire and attitude that Bones gave us.

Very intrigued with our acquisition of Bryant. I think he can be a great pickup depending on how Malone uses him. I’m curious if he ever plays alongside Jokic or if he’s just backing him up. I think he’ll definitely start when Jokic sits out the second night of these back to backs. In our second unit I think he can bring scoring, rebounding, and size around pick and rolls. Apparently he can shoot a little so we’ll see if he gets to let it fly from long distance. I don’t know if he’ll get more than 15-20 but we’ll see. He’s done well in that range for the Lakers but I wonder if he wants to play more in that 20-30 range. As we saw with Bones these young talented guys don’t want to sit on the bench. Will be something to watch for. I hope Malone will experiment with lineups prior to playoff time so we can figure out the right combos. I’d like to see Bryant paired with Jokic to see what that high low action could look like.

I was hoping for someone who could defend the perimeter like OG given some of these monsters in the West we have to deal with but I think that was probably pie in the sky and we would’ve had to give up way more than we wanted.

This might be our team for the rest of the season. Hope everyone can maintain their health. Love what I’ve been seeing overall.
