Los Ingobernables de Sala de Cine
Saw it today. Gyllenhaal and Maslany were both great, and I liked that for the most part it shed a somewhat darker shadow on the hero worship. Too bad that around the third act it becomes more obnoxious with it and somehow (of course) ties into some patriotism about the work of marines that has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the Boston bombing.
It certainly was a lot better than that Marky Mark bullshyt and works better as a movie but yeah, America loves making (white) heroes out of everyone.
Random side-note: they're both famous for their mighty voices but Clancy Brown with a mustache really is Powers Boothe's doppelgänger.
