Baltimore, MD "The Greatest City In America"
March of the wooden soldiers, C-Cypher-Punks couldn't hold us
A thousand men rushing in, not one nikka was sober
Perpendicular to the square, we stand bold like flare
Escape from your dragon's lair
In particular, my beats travel like a vortex
Through your spine to the top of your cerebral cortex
Make you feel like you bust a nut from raw sex
Enter through your right ventricle clog up your bloodstream
Heart terminal like Grand Central Station
Program fat bass lines on Novation
Getting drunk like I'm fukking ducking five-year probation

U can't have this verse spit so awkwardly and then say it beat Crossroads. Lol

Heads always feel like it's some kind of betrayal to acknowledge something from somewhere else had a bigger impact with more people.

Outside of Pac and Kanye, Crossroads was probably the closest thing rap music has had to a modern Negro spiritual. Add in the Eazy tribute and that track went damn near everywhere and touched a lot of people it otherwise wouldn't have.

Triumph is rap/emcee royalty status but it ain't that.

You'd have to be stupid or trolling to argue otherwise

Crossroads is like top five biggest rap song of the 90s

What does that have to do with which song was better?

Nah dummy it doesn't work like that, look at the thread title, which is the stronger 90s song, what do you think the metrics for discussion here, which is "better" they're both classics, different sounds and fan bases, no real answer but we know when it comes to bigger, more impact, more pronounced classic, the answer is obvious isn't it but y'all wierdos do your thing lol

Wu - Still doing arena tours in 2023, selling out shows world wide

BTNH - :francis:

You - :umad::umad::umad:

That's great, but Crossroads is still the bigger song, which is the purpose of the thread but instead your dusty ass came here ranting about Ghost and Rae and stadium tours like a dummy but I'm the mad one, make it make sense

Crossroads plays better at hood funerals, and that's where it stops
