Breh musta grew up in the 2000s lol. 1970s is when ALL black folks started going to college in droves which gave us all the 80s-90s strong independent corporate women. Its also when you started seeing the Black Greek Orgs in HBCUs start varying in skin color and background (pre 1970s it was mainly old money blacks who tend to be on the lighter side).

The issue being faced now is Black men were cut out of that equation if anything, while Black women are now there by themselves.
