It is slept on but I think it's because at the time it was overshadowed by Deathrow Records artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg. , plus, even though 2pac was thuggin it by this time you wouln't realand the public was captivated by the LA gang culture. You couldn't really pin point 'Pac's style at this time because, plus, the public was captivated by the LA gang culture, and even though 'Pac was thuggin it by this time he wasn't claiming sets, he was more thug/militant with a little politics mixed in. While people wanted that new sounding G-Funk, 'Pac sound was more common with had came just before, like Ice Cube and the Bomb Squad style production.

After getting a chance to listen to the albums he produced after Thug Life it enhances the appreciation for Strictly 4 My N-I-G-G-A-Z.
