Can someone explain the math behind this? Because I'm confused.

I thought that the '.500' mark equals 50%. So my maths says:

# of Games: 62
.500 Mark: 31
Warrior Wins: 50
Games over .500: 50-31=19
Warriors over .500 Record = 19

Am I wrong?? Can someone explain this to me (like I'm 5)?
