That soundtrack was very dope.
That "Change the channel" line is hilarious. The SF movie is incredibly awful, and the anime was way better in every way possible, but truthfully, if you look at Street Fighter: The Movie like its a spoof, its actually very entertaining. The script had a whole lotta jokes in it, alotta one liners. I can see why Van Damme chose SF over MK, since MK was heavy on the special effects whereas SF was all live action, I honestly cant remember a single Van Damme film with CGI. Plus he did get to be the hero. MK movie was good because it was true to the game. MK2 was terrible. Just terrible.
Street Fighter: The Movie was something I was really looking forward to as a kid, and although it didn't deliver what I thought it was going to be, I still really enjoyed it. E.Honda was fukking Samoan or Hawaiian or some shyt
you gotta laugh at some of the shyt they did in that movie.I saw the Double Dragons movie once, it was really bad, had the dude from Party Of Five (not matthew fox, the other dude). I also saw DOA: Dead or Alive, just terrible. I never saw the Tekken Movie though.

I like the movie for what it is, which is empty entertainment. Does it shyt on the entire Street Fighter legacy? Probably, but that doesn't beat all the unintentional (and occasionally intentional) comedy of the movie.

Raul Julia, I respect as an actor. I'll admit he had some good "dictator" type lines but that's all out the window when his goofy azz was getting that work by Chun Li.... Only to lock himself into a glass case and fill the room up with sleeping gas. Bison looking pitiful as fukk behind that glass

Yeah that one was terrible too, but at least it was a sequel. And though its been a minute since I've seen it, I'm positive the characters didn't get botched incredibly like Street Fighter characters.
