I Really Mean It

90s had fatigues, field jackets, champion hoodies, north face jackets, crispy timbs, air max, Jordans, etc.Dude in the OP ain’t wrong. Don’t y’all find it weird that nikkas who are considered the most dripped out nowadays are non-Harlem residents... like flamingly gay nikkas own this swag shyt these days. Openly gay nikkas was not considered the freshest in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2G’s. The most suspect trend of the early 2000’s was those 6XL Galaxy tall white tees that were originally designed as women’s nightgowns that looked like dresses. And talking about early 80’s rappers stage outfits is misleading because nikkas on the street wasn’t dressing like that. Nowhere, not East Coast, West or Down South. Run DMC was revolutionary because they dressed how the average cat on the street dressed. The 90’s was a very Harlem era for the drip. But you have to be an 80’s baby to know that.
Easily the best era for dressing. New York brehs used to have the fashion game on lock. Then they started chasing the gay trends that Southern rappers were following.
West coast brehs have never known how to dress.
