I been a street fighter fan for the longest, but I made all the excuses in the world for this game, its trash

They need to move on to 6 already this game was a failure, garbage ass netcode

If the net code makes the whole game trash, what makes you think it's gonna be any better for 6?

It's a new game and they can make it better to scratch

IV wasn't nowhere this bad, and the Guilty Gear Strive Beta virtually had no lag, and was way better than all their other games

its called improvement

I'm of the opinion that they don't think it's wrong, that's why they haven't changed it

1. Ono is out the paint. New management/producer is waaay more open and consumer forward. The men who did MHW is running shyt at Capcom now and a new culture is in place.

2. MvC:I proved Capcom could do competent net code.

They fixed all their netcode problems with MVCI

Plus they've been thoroughly shamed and embarassed by the online tournament/capcum situation during the pandemic. Trust me, they've learnt their lesson.

Oh, and its abundantly apparent Ono was a complete cancer to the franchise and he's gone now sooooo....

There's many good reasons to believe SF6's netcode will be good

Plus to add, a lot of these Japanese fighting game companies have changed their perception of the importance of netplay in the recent year and a bit, esp when it comes to the long term success of a game. They've only now just started acknowledging rollback and culturally it was a thing for each company to build their own network structure from scratch. They're not on that dumbass time now. Plus, Japan's internet infrastructure is way better than most western countries so tbh, they assumed everyones online experience playing their games wasn't as bad as it was :ld:

:what: All this Ono slander from y’all is ridiculous, man single handedly revived SF. A IP Capcom gave no fukks about. Dude was a fukkin producer not a one man show. SFV was direct feedback from the pros and players, from comebacks to gameplay.

That directive came down from on top and Ono has to run with that. Woshige, Nakayama, and Matsumoto were all there from the beginning, but y’all fail to understand this was a live service.

Seriously this happens with every street fighter. :snoop:

Ono had waaay more influence than you give him credit for. But I'm not foolish enough to put the SFV debacle solely on him. Regardless with the dude over MHW being promoted and having a larger hand in all Capcom games its clear his influence is having a bigger impact than Ono actually leaving.

To clarify my point I feel like even if Ono was still there, I think Capcom would still be moving like this during the pandemic and Season 5.

Lastly, to cap off my point on Ono its well known that Ono has as many "haters" within Capcom as he had "those who loved him". Meaning I think he may have been difficult to work with and was a hard ass on some of the development designs for SFV. :manny:

Easiest way to get all the characters without paying?

If I pay for season 5, do I get the characters from the previous seasons?

My man. Noone's said it's only his fault BUT it's happened on his watch soooo...

Ono had full say so on SFV, SFvsT which both tanked, were critically panned upon release and sold way less than capcom's expected sales....not what they hoped to sell...what they predicted. PLUS he was heading the development of SF6 and every piece of information and opinion leaked about that game has stated it was trash. The bad development of that game was why he got forced out ffs and you're talking about ono slander?! The man by all accounts was pushing SF6 to be a hybrid tag game :dead::laff:

The man fucced up, was doing a beyond sh'tty job post SF4, the characters making in SF5 after his depature has improved tenfold and all the rumours now about SF6 post him leaving and that female director taking the reigns have been positive. It's no coincidence

Fucc Ono :blessed:
