Nah he was still alive when ex 3 came out in March, he passed in his sleep in May. I think his last voice for games was Zato's for Guilty Gear X. They should have hired someone that sounds similar to him like Takumi Yamazaki and Isshin Chiba they did well as replacements.

I saw some footage, characters looked like they were sliding when they walked forward or back. Overall, game looked nice.

Judging by the new trailer Hokuto is going by her real name Shirase. Garuda has a new legion type voice.

Now is a good time for everybody to jump ship get a PS4. Yeah, I think they are gonna add a few more things for Skullomania, also they need to change the hard fall sound, super move sound, and the hit noise. Lastly, I think they will keep the 3D movement I think ARIKA removed it for testing purposes it wouldn't make sense to remove it as the stages look to detailed for it to be a 2.5D comparing to Street fighter 5, KOF, Injustice and etc.

I already knew from the moment they announced it that it was gonna be a PlayStation Exclusive.
the EX series were only on playstation too. (except EX3)
also I'm not surprised by Darun/ Skullomania. these are guys we expect to see anyway.
