The funniest part about that AEW rating this week is that the ratings are going up since WWE put Evolve on Tubi on Wednesday nights.

They thought they were being slick programming against AEW and ain’t no one watching that shyt. Three episodes deep and the Evolve thread on here doesn’t even have 90 replies yet and that shyt streams for free. AEW Dark episodes probably had better viewership than Evolve does.:mjlol:

hard to tell with that Mercedes spot cuz it seems like there was a quick cut of the camera or something that made it seem not look as bad, like maybe she tucked her head in low enough where it was the upper back that took the impact vs the neck or back of head. not sure how muscular Mercedes is but I know the muscles on both sides of the upper back, might be the shoulder blades if my knowledge is correct, are strong enough to take that impact. but it didn't seem to show the fall just her laying there right after.

not surprised at the evolve thing. i know Cartwheel guy was on the first episode and saw talk about it on Twitter but haven't seen anyone mention it since. of course most of Twitter just focuses on negative talk, especially when it comes to criticizing AEW. rarely hear see any big accounts posting about Evolve or anything good on WWE. in fact today, even JDfromNY said something about it, the talk was how bad SD was. so unless something real bad happens, I see no mention of WWE, so not surprised nobody talking about Evolve.

I see the card graphics are up. I'll share them in the next post.

Banger focused shows on both nights. Interesting pairings in both trios matches with AR Fox joining Top Flight and the Hobbs, Briscoe, and Romero connection tho Briscoe and Romero were in The Conglomeration if that still exists. Kinda random trios title match but better than not getting anything with those titles. Saturday looks like the better night but Sunday could surprise. Of course don't expect that night to do better with it being a late start especially for East Coast fans. Lets see if anything happens as far as progressing anything goes. Get some momentum going for Dynasty.

Fed Boys and a lot of fans watching mainstream wrestling don’t care about legit Indy wrestling shows/talent.

This is the weirdest part to me... the people most likely to be interested in talent like Jack Cartwheel on TV are the card-carrying Sickos.

Hunter might even fukk around and push more people Tony's way if they get a taste for the more indieriffic style and realise they can't find much more of it in the WWE Universe :lupe:

NXT should be the only show they have to showcase their talent of tomorrow. There’s no guarantee the ID talent will even make it to NXT, especially competing with the NIL program.

Jack Cartwheel is one of the most non-WWE pilled wrestlers on the planet. When he got IDed I was like “that doesn’t make any god damn sense.” Only thing that makes sense about him with WWE is that he’s white.

WWE is never going to do anything with him, obviously no one gives a fukk about Evolve so doing anything on there doesn’t mean any damn thing. Maybe he could peak as an NXT mid carder?

Raw is 2 and half hrs usually.
NXT is 2 hrs
Smackdown is 3 hrs currently.

That is a ton of wrestling each week if you are just a WWE fan, unless wrestling is the only hobby you have I don't see how Evolve or Speed is that appealing.

I personally watch Raw, NXT, Dynamite. By the time that Friday rolls around, I've usually had enough and mostly speed thru Smackdown and Collision if there are any highlights on my DVR later. And I would consider myself a hardcore fan.

I assume WWE is the same way, but AEW makes it easy to not watch Dynamite or Collision with the lengthy clips they post on YouTube. Seems like basically every non-wrestling segment gets posted in full and the matches are normally clipped up pretty well in a condensed format.
