AAA games have definitely got more woke, but the anti-woke crowd are mostly bad faith actors. There’s still high quality seemingly non woke games on the horizon, but yet the culture warrior personalities never discuss them.

Why isn’t a Grummz or Andypants Gaming hyping up Crimson Desert? The only time the non-woke crowd hypes something up, is to “own the libs”, see Hogwarts Legacy or Stellar Blade. They can’t champion something unless it’s in some relation to the left. They can’t say “hey this game looks hot I wanna play it”, it’s always “this game is good because it’s not like the gay AAA slop these days”. It’s all a grift, the question is what content will they pivot to, when the woke discourse becomes played out?
