Strange Days...well, that's a movie. Had the feel of a 90s sci fi flick which I didn't mind and it's clearly a Cameron production and really a product of its time. The acting was fine even if a lot of the dialogue was terrible (This is real time! Real time! It's time to get real!) and I'll say that it's definitely an interesting film but it's just all over the place and never really seems set in what it wants to do and the third act seemed to want to top itself to become more and more ridiculous and the two or three endings the film had left me
because it was starting to drag after it hit the initial peak. But as per usual with a lot of films of this time and subject matter, characters seemed to do things because the script said they needed to not because it made sense for the characters. With that said though, some of the scenes are hard to watch and not because they're bad but because of the subject matter. Props to all involved for pushing the envelope and obviously it was a part of the story but that didn't make it any easier to digest. Bigelow did some things with the camera that were really cool and seemed to know what she was doing behind the camera but it's all the stuff in front of it that make this a very meh flick..4/10
