Regardless this movie should not win an Oscar. Just because its NWA - whom i love - and they now have big wig Jimmy Iovine & Dre behind the movie doesnt mean it automatically should win awards,
especially with distorted history in it. Of course it aint a biography but still..

Cool little movie especially for the teeny bopers who arent as aware of NWA, nothing more nothing less.

I actually agree with you bruh. The movie was good, not great. A lot of cliched moments and a lot of inaccuracies. When it comes to "black" movies this year I thought Creed was better and more deserving.

Having said that, for the movie's ONLY nomination to go to the white writers is kind of bullshyt, especially considering the fact that the dialogue was the film's weakest element. Would much rather have seen it get a nom in acting or direction.

Definitely a good movie, and he was the highlight to me.

Don't forget Tomeka, I think it was more Tomeka and Dre (since Cube wasn't fukking with none of them nikkaz around this time) who should take the blame for this.

In the director's cut they have a scene of Eazy going home to Tomeka and crying while she shushes and rocks him to sleep - after the beatdown by Suge which never happened.

This shyt can only have come from Tomeka. Who most of Eazy's associates claim was shady as fukk.
