This is one movie I will not watch opening weekend...:mjpls:
Yeah was never a fan of the group or individuals (except ren) but I hope the movie does well and sparks a trend. Not in a rush to see it for the fact they messed around with the story. Hearing that cube and dre were portrayed as saints rubs me the wrong way

I could watch it this weekend but I'll wait until the crowds die down and go during the week early in the day. Maybe go on Wednesday or Thursday. Or maybe I'll wait until next Tuesday when outs discount day if I can't get this Tuesday off.

Saw it yesterday, dope film. I definitely wanna see it again without all the a$$holes in the theater talking to the screen. We gotta do better, black people :snoop:
I don't recall a movie of this nature being done before I think excuses could be made this time

Yeah, I guess it depends on the city. I don't normally hear that here.
Perhaps, i know i went to see Jurassic World and the showing i was originally going to see was sold out, so i had to wait for another one. it was on a tuesday too :francis:

fact that this movie had a black director as well….:wow: gotta let black directors tell out stories breh. i remeber jim sheridan, who is a genuine great director, but that dude didnt know how to handle Get Rich Or Die Tryin, even though he made classic films in other genres. 8 mile also had a great director but that film was still a lil underwhelming, its like these A List directors come int that world tryna do gritty and i dont know, something missing.
