I'm gonna be real…that whole drumless underground NY wave is already over with. He couldn't even get out of the starting blocks to build a real fanbase b/c he in a contract mess. I mean as great as Reasonable Drought was he waited too long to build from it (and low key was trying to act like Roc wasn't a big part of it). Jumped ship to WSG and Griselda without making sure all his shyt was straight. All it took was a chain for him to voluntarily be in contract purgatory.



Two years later and still no official album just these cash grabs.

Gunn didn’t put him in that situation tho… so this “chain to be put in purgatory” shyt is odd to say… Gunn has spent and is still trying to fix the shyt… His situation was screwed up even before the Roc Marci situation…. “Reasonable Drought” getting that critical acclaim made shyt worse… now mafukkas dont even wanna play fair at all. Not putting your music on the streamers is up there with the single most annoying thing artists can do nowadays


The first black star album is one of my favorite of all times…still never even listened to the second one because they got too cute with how they released it lol

If artists want to get paid for their music, more need to begin going that route.

Have almost two generations who think listening to music is free!

Of course the artists must make sure they're releasing quality product too!
