I didn't get that from this and Rome always big upping Roc on his lives. Imo it came across like he was just in it to use Roc to catapult (it's funny because I was saying this about a similar situation with the underground group the Umbrella). AA Rashid found him when he was called Aaron Cook$ and was rapping about chakras and Auras, Tree of Life like Ab-Soul, AA introduced him to Lord Jamar , from there he went to Busta and now he's with Gunn. Someone post in Griselda reddit a song he had on a mixtape and you can tell that Camron was a influence. Dude has had so many different styles switches until it's not funny.

You should watch his interview from last year with Rosencac. Cook$ talks about meeting Roc at a Flipmode Reunion album session and Roc came thru and straight up told Busta he wasn't doing it cause he on this indie wave now and Cook$ was cracking up the whole time. Roc was looking at him crazy like why he laffing and then Busta plays some of Cook$ music and Roc was feeling it and they linked from there
