I want Storm to be the first Black female superhero solo film and I’m going to pissed if she ends up in some dumbass love triangle with T’chala and Lupita. I don't know why people are so pressed to see them as a couple when it lasted for 10 seconds in the comics.

That's all people know about the character, sadly. The Fox movies treated everyone besides Logan like an afterthought, so this whole new generation is sleeping on how thorough most of these characters really are.
They don't know how deep a character Storm really is.

Personally, I'd rather see her with Forge (as a nod to their relationship in the Claremont era), but that's just me.

Most of these comic fanboys/youtubers actually don't read or like BP or Storm so they only name drop big event stuff.

They kinda shot their load with Killmonger, I think. He's story with T'Challa would've been perfect to end the trilogy on. Panthers Rage laid the groundwork to base the movies on. First movie should've dealt with his fued with Claw and M'Batu. Second movie his relationship with Monica, time in America, how it's viewed by the Wakandans, and facing off against the Hate Monger or the White Supremacist group from his four issue mini in the 80s. Third movie, most of what we got in Black Panther with Killmonger taking the throne and his beef with T'Challa.
The did Killmonger first because they wanted to start with a storyline explaining why T'Challa expanded beyond Wakanda, as well as incorporating themes immediately relevant to the Black American experience. If they had stayed within Africa for the entire first movie then we wouldn't have gotten those Black American themes that Coogler wanted to incorporate, and if T'Challa went to America before the Killmonger storyline then the Killmonger storyline wouldn't hit the same way.

I don't think anyone should criticize the progression of the movies until we actually see how the 2nd and 3rd movies hit. Coogler easily could be outthinking us here.

Why? What’s wrong with Storm’s origin as is? Why does she need to have anything to do with T’Challa when her character became great without anything to do with T’Challa and for majority of her history a more well known character.

Also, no wolverine :stopitslime::what::camby:

her relationship with forge was far healthier and much longer. Hell lifedeath is a far better story than anything writing about t’challa and storm.

I use to want Black Panther and Storm to be together. But they need to stay far apart. Storm is a bedwench icon made by White men for what their representation of a Black woman is. After she left Black Panther she was a booty call for dirty ass midget Wolverine. :picard: Plus her fanbase is even worse full of gays and shea butter hoes. Keep that shyt away from Black Panther(the MCU version I hear the comics version is donzo lol).
