Embiid the best 5 option they got, no matter how bad the man is off. It may be short sighted to play him rn, but it's either do that or concede the game I can understand why he's out there at least

That's why Sixers management or whoever decided that it was ok for him to return should've instead trusted the team they have and see how far an Embiid-less team could go in the postseason.

From there make off-season adjustments and deductions on what works and what. Then just hope next year things are different, playing him when he now in a desperation attempt to make the conference finals or Finals could just make his injuries worse.

There is no hope for next year with Embiid. It's not like he's ever going to be healthier. Each year they're just delaying the inevitable, or rolling the dice until the inevitable. And if he's not the franchise piece that they can rely on, they have to trade him. He's the only piece that can demand something substantial.
