They shoulda done Brock vs Rock II

Imagine the buildup. Brock beats HBK, beats HHH, so the clique comes to Rocky asking to get revenge on their behalf. Rocky successfully defends his title against Brock and drops the title the next night to Cena when he asks Rock for the opportunity to prove himself again.

Yeah, that's some great booking there... have two face characters who've stood toe to toe with everybody who's somebody... come to another guy to fight their battle. He fights their battle at Mania, then has a rematch of the main event of the highest-grossing WrestleMania ever... on free TV the next night.

Talk about terrible booking...

I'm just looking for a way to get Brock vs. Rock II, not see Twice in a Lifetime in the WM main event, and get the belt off the Rock in an unpredictable way so he can go back to Hollywood

Idk breh Ill tell you I hated the HHH/Orton match but that god damn feud was fire That damn home invasion angle...


The whole Taker/HBK/HHH feuds had great buildup...

Big Show/ Money Mayweather ill build up...

Flair/HBK...

This is definitely so far the worst built WM in awhile and those are just feuds off the top of my head. Im banking on Punk and Taker putting some crazy shyt together to build that match.

Yup... don't get me wrong, the build helps... but the show is what matters most. Nobody's gonna care what happened in the 2nd week of March more than what happened on April 7th.

WWE has increased the price of WrestleMania by $5 so it will be $59.95 for standard definition and $69.95 for HD this year. If the price increase doesn't turn buyers away, it will lead to $3 million in extra revenue, based on 1.2 million worldwide buys, not including the increase in viewers who have moved to HD. Based on changes in annual trends, viewers moving to HD could add another $900,000 in profit.

Shield vs. All-stars
Hell No vs. ZiggyBigE
Ryback vs. Henry

These all are helping out the terrible main event scene.

On paper it's looking like wrestle"meh"nia. Between NY being rabid like usual, TSC picking apart foolishness and going ham plus it being mania it should at least be fun


Still planning to order it at least for now, even tho VIP box seating or even the possibility of first row is tempting.

I don't think the main events are "terrible"... they could and HAVE done much worse. My only gripe with the main events are that two of em are matches we just saw headlining PPVs in 2012, but I doubt the matches themselves will be trash.

shyt, we've gotten Undertaker vs Sid, Hogan vs Sid, Cena vs Miz, Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter, that HHH/Orton snoozefest at 25... I find it hard to feel like this year's top matches are gonna be particularly terrible. If they turn out that way, I'd be more "the hell?" than "knew it all along"

?truth is HHH/Lesnar and Punk/Taker have taken a turn for the better.

The main event is still awful though, zero build or interest
