Nope. I post facts straight from the pioneers/og's

A lot of these videos speak as tho history started in 1970. They don't refute what I'm saying because I'm talking about before 1970

I don't really care what happen the night the world first got a hold of the new shyt. I'm talking about how they got to the new shyt. And that is not being refuted by ANY of these videos you post.

They are cool to see tho. And I sincerely do appreciate you posting them.

This Dunya...and Beyond
black culture existed and flourished in a similar manner that it does today, minus the money, before white people called it hip hop and started raping them dumb ass New York nikkas for every part of their culture…

White people did not coin the term "hip hop". That's already been proven in this thread. Why are you acting like New York was the only place where people got exploited by the industry? That's still happening now, including in your beloved South.

Hip hop is the name white people gave black culture in New York as they started to commercialize it.

See above.

Hip hop is the name of the subgroup of blacks in NYC that made no money. And sold their soul.

Tell me some names of NYC pioneers who "sold their soul". And how do you sell your soul without making any money?

HIP HOP can suck my dikk. nikkas rapped, appropriated language, and appropriated clothing way before New York in the 80s.... All over the new world…

Why you so mad at Hip Hop and New York? Seems kinda unbalanced. What did New York ever do yo you?

So stop calling all black music hip hop... Then pretend like it's one New York gift to black people. It's not.. The New York gift was getting raped by the white man all over again…

And how is that exclusive to New York?

Everybody raps. Black culture is strongest in the south

How do you define "strongest"? Does that mean it's fits your definition and what you personally feel comfortable with?

I feel like I get part of your point about Hip Hop just being a continuation of a greater tradition, and tracing it's African roots. No one can deny that. What I don't get is why try to denigrate a specific sub-culture that grew out of a specific time/place/experience just because you're not from there? Why not give respect where it's due, focus on the common ground, and keep it movin? Why have so much anger and frustration towards New York? Seems kinda weird.:patrice:
