I was gonna argue how Rock never had as good a promo as that but, though I'm an Austin mark, I can't bare to diss another legit GOAT contender.



Just watching this is crazy. Two of the absolute best at one time and lord knows it took years later to realize how special moments like that were (even though it was off air). We may get another transcending superstar one day but we'll never get two at the same time like Austin/Rock again IMO.

That promo is aging amazingly because it was simple, direct and believable. ..
