Last time i watched the rock was still Rocky Maivia , stone cold by default 
Come on now breh lol. All those pie jokes, got stale after a while. Most of the rock promos back then were cool as a kid, but as a grown man, they were lame and corny. Austin was the definition of bad ass, and the everyday man could relate to him more than the rock

There's no other comparison to measure their success to each other. MJ and Prince sure, but MJ on a popularity scale was pn a completely different level than Prince.
