Berto is actually very good. He just was too offensive minded. Add to that he didn't really have a good team, plus the hype went to his head. If he had a better team and he could weight drain people, no drug testing with Ariza or Conte, he woulkd have had much better success. The hate for Berto and Broner here is disgusting.

Berto is a B- fighter. He got high marks in speed and power, but is just about average in everything else. Broner gets hated on true, but he was always a better fighter than Berto.

Berto had a good look on HBO fighting scrubs and getting damn near a mil for them shyts. He lived the boxing dream. It's just that he wasn't good enough to capitalize on it. Thats no shade. Most knowledgeable boxing heads would agree. Berto's talented enough to give anybody a tough fight tho.
