As a kid, I was checked out pretty heavy of WCW by this point. I never saw any of this happening, I would mostly keep up with WCW through video games and playing cards till 2000

Yeah I missed this too. I was barely switching back from Raw at all at this point. I’ve been watching this 99 Nitro stuff recently and it’s :trash:

The best heel they had going was midlife crisis Macho Man (Scott Steiner was injured). They gave him the belt and he only had it for one day before dropping it to newly face Hoegan on Nitro.
