Sting officially retires from wrestling.

So Taker and Sting were finally in the same company and WWE didn't capitalize on it by having these face off whether for the streak or just at a PPV period?
This is just like back when Goldberg and Stone Cold were finally in the WWE at the same time and they never faced off, but it was more understandable because Stone Cold really wasn't fit to preform anymore and Goldberg was a terrible worker. Them not wrestling one another was probably for the best since SCSA might have suffered some serious injuries or worse working with Goldberg.

Considering how some of our faves left the biz/fared after leaving the biz there's no point in being mad id say. Sting did alright and will be alright.
Wrestling. .. specifically Sting and the Undertaker got me thru some really rough patches in early life, when chaos and storms were going on I could always count that hour or two of an escape.
Would've loved to see him vs Undertaker as his last match since that's what he wanted but he seemed genuinely happy at Mania 31 and he was moving around like a younger man in the Rollins match before he got hurt, went out like a grizzled warrior on his shield in MY opinion, wins and losses in a "fake sport" don't define a character, he finished the match the way an old wily vet is taught to.
I give zero fukks in admitting that hall of fame speech is gonna be a tough one for me to watch
damn, been posting along side some of ya'll cats between sohh and the coli for a long ass time. .. if Sting AND Taker hang it up this year that'd be a solid bookend for this screen name
Absolutely. First WWE DVD I'd "acquired early" but still bought a hard copy of in a while
It's got a bit more depth than the Owen one. Felt like they skimmed over things here and there but you really can't make a 3 hr wrestling documentary I suppose
If you enjoyed his work it's worth watching I'd say (no stannery)

Ya'll need to get off Seth's nutsack on this one. Sting says himself he botched that bump, and doesn't blame Seth at all for what happened. shyt happens. Everyone here knows they'd be popping for his return. Just sad I didn't get that double retirement match with him and Taker, but lost most respect for Taker anyway, so

Hopefully, he gets the respect here that he's due. People here know that without King Goat Kurt and Goat Stang, TNA would've folded a decade or so ago. Didn't really reach the pinnacle of his career trajectory because of Hogan, but he still put the butts in the seats everywhere he went.
