It's funny catching up on this thread and seeing a nikka be so wrong and get proven wrong after each shyt post he puts up.
Whats even crazier is the fact the republicans are now forced to do the right thing because the numbers in GA ain't looking so good for em.
Hopefully the gambit doesn't earn them favor down here.

Why wouldn't it?
They're insulated on all sides even if they don't ever take a vote on it by merely saying they would.
Again, we're only in this situation because the entire stimulus has bee wrought with bad faith and inadequate negotiations to the point that they eventually passed a bad bill.
Now people are hoping a last minute stunt will provide temporary relief only to be in this same situation in a couple of months.

There's been a ton of early voting in GA. I wonder if Loeffler and Perdue have put themselves into a significant deficit already by not coming out for these checks from the jump like Warnock and Ossoff have.

Mitch gonna let Perdue/Loeffler vote yes on $2000 but "don't have the votes" elsewhere to try to save face for them? I don't know if that's a great strategy...
I also don't think tying 230 to this is a great strategy, that's a tough needle to thread right there...
I know Mitch don't want to up these checks to $2000 and it's killing him on the inside that this is even an issue. It might just be possible that they go ahead and pass it if Trump continues his tweet storm.
