This country isn't ready for a progressive president like that and will not likely have one in our lifetimes. It would take a very unique candidate to thread that needle and so far we haven't seen that candidate.Bernie with the power play. If this country had any ounce of sense he'd be president.
it would be doable if they leaned into populism and managed to avoid the (ironic) elitist nature towards the midwest and south and showed enough humility to admit to mistakes and give vague enough messages that get across a point to the base but dont confuse/scare the other people you need to vote for you
