I hope it's a period piece of some type. Not trying to see Spielberg's take on modern UFO sentiments (Joe Rogan type shyt). There's no magic or discovery to it, just clumsy brute logic. Give me the magic and awe of searching radio frequencies, visiting libraries, and traveling to locations VS sitting on your ass watching Youtube videos.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
David koepp has been living off Jurassic Park and Spider-Man for way too long
I was about to say that he also wrote The Mummy, but it was the 2017 one. :scust: Death Becomes Her and Carlito's Way are great though, but for being the ninth most successful screenwriter in history, his writing credits are mostly a big bowl of "Meh."

Ready Player One was fun. Yall weird if you didn’t like it. :what:
While I found Ready Player One to be an enjoyable film, I never felt compelled to revisit it. In fact, most films that heavily feature character cameos tend to be one-and-done viewing experiences for me, with the exception of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Wreck-It Ralph, which have withstood the test of time. It may need a repeat viewing in the future since it’s been half a decade (:damn:) now.

EDIT - As for Spielberg’s other recent works, I liked Tintin and I also liked Lincoln & The Post too, but I’m a history geek so that type of film engages me. They may not be for the crowd who loves non-stop action, explosions, and dialogue with endless one liners.

Maybe because I like dystopian and futuristic movies, but I’ve rewatched it twice. Even thinking of watching it again.

I bet a lot of these dudes would have loved it if they watched it as a kid. Adults are miserable fukks who bytch and moan too much.

Jurassic park screenwriter :mjlol:
That supposed to mean anything? They stayed pretty true to the novel except for a few scenes that were omitted in the first movie.
All the sequels not based on the book , were trash,

I disowned nearly everything he's done post 2002 until West Side Story and Fablemans which I both loved. He might have his mojo back
Not as consistent in the 2000s but also nowhere near as in limbo like a Tim Burton. I got a lot of love for Munich.

I am getting a tad tired of Emily Blunt. I liked her in Oppenheimer but then you have to see the "Jungle Cruises and Quiet Place 2s and the Fall Guys". Also something weird has happened to her face. It isn't age because she is not too old (40sh) but while watching The Fall Guy it seemed her face shaped changed throughout the movie.
Now I can get aboard a sequel to The Edge of Tomorrow....

It’s the cheek and chin implants. The veneers don’t help.

She was in all that stuff prior to Oppenheimer bruh lol. I was tired of her when that joint dropped lol

She's a white woman they hit a wall at 40. Have you seen Kirsten Dunst? I mean she was never hot to begin with but she looks damn mid 50s.
