There are different forms of insanity breh. This guy might be suffering from some mental issues but he is still accountable for his actions. He was not compelled to do any of the shyt that he did.

He is also well aware of his weaknesses and shortcomings. Dude is 37 years old. If he had anger management issues etc he had decades to work on and overcome those shortcomings.

The point I'm making is that this "mental illness is an excuse" thought process is part of the problem and is why it goes undiagnosed

As somalis we know that mental illness is dismissed as someone being possessed.
There's a stigma surrounding the issue of mental health and that's why a lot of the time these people don't get any help.

I'm not saying he shouldn't be held accountable, an actual psychologist should evaluate his state of mind, But I'm arguing that there are better ways of addressing the issues around mental illness
