Why would you be glad that a vastly inferior film outperformed it's better counterpart?

I saw both, and I don't really care about why it was made in regards to Oscar bait or moneygrab, blah blah whatever you want to call it.

Steve Jobs is a fukking great movie. That, imo, is all that really matters.

And truth be told, the FIRST film was the cash grab. It was rushed into production and is nothing more than a made-for-TV movie put in theaters. It's a very by the numbers biopic that is less interesting than the decades old actually made for TV movie, "Pirates of Silicon Valley".

Right regardless of what you think about the guy,why are you mad they tried to tell his story?

Literally the only reason this film exists was oscar bait. Thats it.


We did not need another steve jobs movie.


I'd rather watch epic movie or one of those other shytty spoof films then watch another masturbation of steve jobs. He was a piece of shyt,he got aids,he died. The end.


Their is thousands of other ideas that could go into production with this amount of money and talent shoved at it, as well as the oscar behind the scenes push that are far more deserving.

maybe you didn't say it but it was said twice in here and again by you just now, how do we know this? and I never saw the Kutcher movie cause I heard it was terrible and felt it was rushed so I didn't expect it to be any good...

And I would think the man (the we were told) that was behind the biggest tech company in the world suddenly dying would be something I would be interested in.. He was on tv presenting every phone to you so its not like people shouldn't have knew who he was.. But I have heard people say they didn't know who he was, so yea people are stupid but I thought this movie would be perfect for them... Also this movie bombed cause they just did one two years ago, same reason the rocks Hercules movie didn't do well

uhh that's how businesses are created...and not just the idea but how to execute it is the most important thing....without Jobs, none of these iPhones would be what they are....shout out to the cats who Jobs hired to make the tech, but he is more important because they woulda never even had the imagination to use their talent to create history
