Passed on D’Antoni twice just to bring Clifford back
a part of me is glad that we're likely gonna finish the season with him. still saved us from hiring darvin ham, griffin, and vaughnPassed on D’Antoni twice just to bring Clifford back
Young nikkas getting money and smashing Charlotte IG hoes lmaooLol those guys on that team gives zero Fs about winning basketball games. They need to blow that up and start over.
where is steve clifford going to get them? whether you like it or not, they are rebuilding....for the 2nd time in 4 years. they're blowing it up after blowing it up after kemba. Coach is saying they're undertalented. Terry Rozier said a few days ago that losing is expected in Charlotte. They didn't plan to win games, no matter the roster. The team's culture is badborrego was a part of the mediocrity. you make it sound like we should've let him push the team to another play-in blowout to complete the trilogy.
also all of the discipline issues built up during *his* tenure. on top of that, he spent the whole time complaining about a lack of size just to push pj washington as a small ball center at the complete detriment of nick richards - who's turned his entire career around completely since then. charlotte didn't even tank last year, they had more players missing games due to injury than every other team but portland lol
the direction is clear right now - trade who you can and open up salary. the team had its starting 5 for not even 10 games this year
leaky black already got his one shining moment its over
Unseirous franchise. He's talented but I question whether a team with LaMelo as the cornerstone can win. They need to move the team and start from scratch or something.
he was literally a placeholder coach - and he's doing placeholder coach things. it doesn't matter how much you plan to do anything when your starting 5 plays together less than 20% of their time togetherwhere is steve clifford going to get them? whether you like it or not, they are rebuilding....for the 2nd time in 4 years. they're blowing it up after blowing it up after kemba. Coach is saying they're undertalented. Terry Rozier said a few days ago that losing is expected in Charlotte. They didn't plan to win games, no matter the roster. The team's culture is bad
They're gonna open up salary, and fukk it up again, i guarantee it
His beats are trash became he's also undertalentedUndertalented
U N D E R T A L E N T ED
The reason @Shadow King posts are garbage is because he is undertalented.
i didnt care if they maxed kemba or nothe was literally a placeholder coach - and he's doing placeholder coach things. it doesn't matter how much you plan to do anything when your starting 5 plays together less than 20% of their time together
and you keep saying blow it up like we blew up anything after kemba please tell me you wasn't one of those saying mj should've maxed kemba.
hornets only got lamelo and miller from jumping ahead on lottery balls, there wasn't even a real tank job for either guy we'd even consider a franchise player
you acting like kenny atkinson being a bytch and fukking us over after a months long process is news to you tell us how many other credible coaches are willing to roll out of bed on a week's notice to coach a team - and the minute any small market team gets the reputation of firing coaches every year they get an even bigger hill to climb.i didnt care if they maxed kemba or not
So what is the point of firing a placeholder coach for another placeholder coach? this is what people are talking about when they say the franchise is unserious and they don't care about winning.
The team has one of the longest playoff draughts in the league if not the longest. they literally cannot get it right. from picking the wrong guys in the lottery, to having one of the worst cultures in the league. They always fukk it up. that's why they will fukk it up once again. Once they open up salary, watch them give some bad contracts or draft bums like MKG or Bouknight and we are right back where we started.
YupMy mama was trash because she's also undertalented in choosing a father
honestly, i would have chosen Stotts or D'Antoniyou acting like kenny atkinson being a bytch and fukking us over after a months long process is news to you tell us how many other credible coaches are willing to roll out of bed on a week's notice to coach a team - and the minute any small market team gets the reputation of firing coaches every year they get an even bigger hill to climb.
im still trying to understand how borrego gets props for having the 29th rated offense in the league, being gifted lamelo, benching him, getting exposed for it, then taking credit for having a top 10 offense because of the same rookie he thought should've been in the g-league.
either way cliff handing off the hc spot the minute our books open up isn't some coincidence either. like was the team supposed to overpay for monty and trade for buddy hield to put up appearances now? its been a two year pivot from the jump
a part of me is glad that we're likely gonna finish the season with him. still saved us from hiring darvin ham, griffin, and vaughn
and we told him no to hire atkinson - who fukked us lol. coaches don't get turned down then turn around ready to pick up scraps after rejection. not even because of ego but because their potential staff and assistants are stuck in limbo for all of this too.honestly, i would have chosen Stotts or D'Antoni
remember, the talk at the time was that D'antoni would expand on that top 10 offense that LaMelo was spearheading.
i'd give credit to borrego for adjusting. and honestly, you give Cliff that same team, they're not gonna be a top offensive team.
again, the hornets can open the books if they want. but i guarantee they find a way to fukk it up. They just don't move like a competent organization. they take steps back all the time. there's a reason why they have the longest playoff draught right now
i know what it looks like sam cassell is on the top of the list right now tho
