Stephen Silas ‘broke down in tears’ after a game earlier this year because he felt he couldn't connect with his team, per @WindhorstESPN

They letting him hold on till they get 7'5 Frenchie then they will go get a real coach

LOL @ you thinking they even have a shot at 7’5 Frenchie. You seriously think the NBA wants their next big phenom ANYWHERE near that cesspool called the Rockets? I’m not bullshyting when I say that Houston could fall to the #5 pick or worse. If Wembanyama was drafted to the Rockets, his career could be affected by the foolishness surrounding that franchise. Rockets aren’t picking #1 this year, if Silver has anything to say about that.

Wembanyama is going to fit in lovely with San Antonio and Coach Pop though :blessed:

I'm not going to shyt on him because he was probably grinding to get a HC job and took the Houston job despite the team being a mess. Truthfully I don't see anyone turning it around under current ownership.
He’s not wrong for feeling the way he does. It’s just bad optics crying at press conferences or openly admitting that you do especially if he has aspirations of coaching again at some point.

It’s a lot of coaches that have been in rebuilding situations unintentionally, but don’t see or hear them openly crying about it.

They got a bunch of talented guys who play me first basketball. No ones gonna care what miraculous numbers they post if they keep getting beat like an illegitimate child. KPJ was talented but Cleveland kicked him to the curb. HE said Houston saved his life yet here he is buying grills while not being concerned about losing every day. Eric Gordon blatantly said theres no improvement. Wall said it was the worst. The coach is crying cause none of them give a damn and this dude Jalen is supposed to have next? Nah Kobe RIP would have been chewing these other guys out by now and taken leadership. Kobe would have been angry as fukk by now.
Wall is out the league now.

When you're picking that high, you're more than likely some sort of a cesspool.

I feel for him between his dad passing and being put on a rebuilding team when he was expecting Harden.

That being said, he’s not the man for the job. He’s very much like a substitute teacher. I bet he’d be a great assistant coach or a player development coach, but he’s not built to be a head coach imo. Especially with young players and no vets.

its sad to watch fr.

he was probably one of the top young HC prospects in charlotte and dallas. actually built his reputation here for being a high character guy, connecting with premier players during and after the season, and gets props for his development at multiple positions lol

people act like organizations can only ruin players. they ruin coaches too. just look at vaughn

he turned down at least 3 jobs waiting for a great opportunity - and it came when he *thought* he was coaching Harden and a perennial playoff Rockets team
Y’all really don’t have this same energy towards CAC coaches
people defended Nash through allllllll kinds of shyt :mjlol:

and they talking about he soft when his dad died this year and he knows he's screwed out of his dream opportunity by some bs

some of these same folks can't sleep at night when they get negged :dead:
