Initial tracking suggests that the Stephen King adaptation is on pace to open to more than $50 million when it premieres in the U.S. on Sept. 8, 2017. That’s a massive number, one that’s usually reserved for summer debuts or holiday launches.

Honestly man, watching the TV series now with a modern eye and not being a kid anymore,it's pretty cheesey and the budget is apparent



That said,when I watched It as a kid that shyt scared the fukk out of me. Had nightmares for weeks.

2017 version is gonna reignite that fear.


Oddly enough I was fine with It and Pennywise when I watched the movie as a kid. Same with Regan in The Exorcist. I liked the films but I didn't find either scary. Now Freddy(Nightmare 1-3) and Candyman scared the hell out of me. I couldn't go near a mirror for days.
