Nobody can touch Tim Curry the OG GAWD Pennywise :demonic:, but hopefully Will can do it justice.

No that tv adaption was far from perfect. They could not give the book the proper treatment because it was a made for tv film. The tv adaption barely captured the terror of pennywise. Pennywise really did not do shyt in the first adaption but giggle. If the movie is 70% close to the book, yall nikkaz in for a treat :sas2:

Just downloaded this book on my iPhone because of this thread. Never saw the whole made for TV version. They play it on ABC family a few years back and it was too many commercial so I'm excited since I've never heard anything bad about the story

It's a marathon. King likes to be real descriptive and focuses on the history of Derry in chunks of the book. Those parts can be slow, but they all tie in.

That said, it's my favorite King book, and I read it after watching the miniseries. Keep us posted on your thoughts :salute:

dude the scariest part in the book, at least to me, was pennywise as that big flying thing coming after that one little kid after he escaped from the older kids tryna fukk with him. shyt was mad tense.

Shout out to the chick letting them run train to for the "bond" :mjpls:

and yet at the same time she wasn't of the :mjpls:philosophy

Hopefully they dont have Pennywise end up being a giant, stop-motion spider in a cave :upsetfavre:

Could borrow one of those Lord of the Rings ones

Great book, there is a few gay moments in the beginning though to warn you.
