Rose won MVP in 2011 he was the best player on the NBA's best team which is how you described Curry so yes he's already there, he was injured the last few seasons but he's shown several times most recently these playoffs that he can still play like he did in his MVP season. It's my understanding that a generational talent is someone who effects the game in every aspect. To me, when I think "generational talent," I think of a guy that you can plop onto any team and single handedly see that team enjoy 20-30 more wins off his presence alone. Just a complete game changer. Think prime Shaq, prime Kobe, prime Bron. Davis is going to be on his way there, he essentially was handed the same situation as Kevin Love but did what Love never did, got his team into the offs.
